Gaining and sharing international experience is one of the important areas of development for LEPL College “Mermisi”. For the College, it is important that international opportunities are accessible to both vocational education teachers and students.

With the support and assistance of College “Mermisi”, within the framework of the competition announced by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, two vocational education teachers from the Culinary Arts field — Gogi Bazandarašvili and Khatia Nadareishvili — participated in an international training visit held in Parma, Italy, at ALMA – The School of Italian Culinary Arts, an internationally recognized culinary school.

During the training visit, the participants gained both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in Italian cuisine and became familiar with modern professional and educational approaches.

The knowledge and experience gained are now returning to College “Mermisi” in the form of new practices, modern approaches and international experience, further enriching the learning process and ultimately contributing to creating more opportunities for our students.

We believe that “Mermisi” is more than a place to learn a profession — it is a space where students have the opportunity to receive modern education, gain international experience, develop professional skills and create new opportunities for their future.

International experience strengthens both teachers and students — it expands professional opportunities, broadens perspectives and connects Georgian vocational education with international practices.
