Sharing international experience is one of the key directions of professional development for vocational education teachers at LEPL College \u201cMermisi.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

Within the framework of a competition announced by the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, LEPL College \u201cMermisi\u201d nominated vocational education teachers Marika Arsenidze and Nino Butkhuz for an international study visit. Following the competition, the teachers visited \u00c9cole Ducasse \u2013 \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure de P\u00e2tisserie, one of the world\u2019s leading pastry schools, located in Yssingeaux, France.<\/p>\n\n

The school is internationally renowned in the fields of pastry arts, chocolate, confectionery, baking, and ice cream, and offers high-level practical training and masterclass opportunities for professionals.<\/p>\n\n

During the study visit, they participated in an intensive masterclass in French pastry arts, where they explored modern professional approaches and techniques and gained valuable hands-on experience based on international best practices. A particularly valuable experience was the show masterclass in ice sculpting and decorative techniques, which provided the participants with an opportunity to learn advanced and contemporary approaches to decoration in the pastry industry.<\/p>\n\n

The knowledge and practical experience gained during the visit are important not only for the professional development of the participating teachers but also for the students of College \u201cMermisi.\u201d Sharing the acquired experience will contribute to the introduction of modern international practices and innovative teaching methods into the learning process, helping future pastry chefs receive vocational education aligned with international standards.<\/p>\n\n

LEPL College \u201cMermisi\u201d will continue to support the international professional development of its teachers, because quality vocational education begins with continuously developing teachers, new knowledge, and the sharing of best international practices.<\/p>\n\n

The visit was carried out with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, the Department of Vocational Education, and LEPL College \u201cMermisi\u201d, within the framework of the Vocational Skills Development Programs.<\/p>\n\n
