{"id":1227,"date":"2026-03-30T18:03:51","date_gmt":"2026-03-30T18:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/int.mermisicollege.edu.ge\/?p=1227"},"modified":"2026-03-30T18:03:54","modified_gmt":"2026-03-30T18:03:54","slug":"international-study-visit-of-vocational-education-teachers-to-italy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/int.mermisicollege.edu.ge\/en\/international-study-visit-of-vocational-education-teachers-to-italy\/","title":{"rendered":"International Study Visit of Vocational Education Teachers to Italy"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vocational education teachers of the professional educational programs \u201cHotel Services\u201d and<br>\u201cRestaurant Services\u201d, Tinatin Dolidze and Iulia Gomurishvili, were on a study visit to Italy, in the city of<br>Spoleto, at the hospitality institute IPSEOASC Alberghiero \u201cGiancarlo De Carolis\u201d Spoleto, from February<br>22 to 28, 2026, within the framework of the Erasmus+ program.<br>The main objective of the visit was to share professional experience and to strengthen international<br>cooperation, particularly in terms of developing student and vocational education teacher exchange<br>programs.<br>Within the framework of the visit, working meetings were held with the Institute\u2019s Director, the<br>Erasmus+ Program Coordinator, and vocational teachers. During these meetings, prospects for<br>expanding cooperation and joint educational initiatives were discussed. The teachers explored the<br>institute\u2019s modern infrastructure, attended practical and laboratory classes, and became familiar with<br>European standards for the implementation of vocational modules.<br>This study visit represents an important step towards the development of exchange and collaborative<br>projects between institutions, the sharing of best practices, and the professional development of<br>students, teachers, and administrative staff. The knowledge gained and the partnerships established will<br>significantly contribute to the implementation of modern standards and the development of the<br>educational process. At the same time, the visit reflects College \u201cMermisi\u2019s\u201d strong commitment to<br>internationalization and to expanding international cooperation within the Erasmus+ framework, further<br>strengthening the competitiveness of both students and vocational education teachers at both local and<br>international levels.<br>LEPL College \u201cMermisi\u201d expresses its sincere
