From 9–15 November 2025, representatives of LEPL College “Mermisi” visited
Estonia for a working visit at our partner institution, Räpina Horticultural School.
The delegation included Quality Manager Nana Namgaladze and VET teachers in
the field of Arts, Ana Saakadze and Olga Rukhadze.
The main aim of the visit was to exchange professional experience and to further
strengthen cooperation, particularly within textile handicrafts and other vocational
training programmes.
During the visit, our colleagues:
– explored the school’s infrastructure,
– became familiar with the educational programmes implemented at Räpina
Horticultural School,
– attended practical training sessions,
– and actively engaged in professional exchange.
As part of the programme, teachers from College “Mermisi” delivered hands-on
masterclasses, demonstrating silk fabric painting techniques and Shibori dyeing
on cotton fabric.
The visit was an important step towards deepening international collaboration and
sharing best practices in vocational education.
