From January 26 to February 1, 2025, an international study visit was organized by
the N(N)LE Vocational Skills Agency in Gross Gerau, Germany, for the
administrative staff of colleges in Georgia. The study visit was hosted by the Hessen
Institute for Continuing Vocational Education and Training (HLIT). Maia Danelia, the
learning process manager of the LEPL College “Mermisi”, participated in the visit.
The main purpose of the visit was to share international experience and improve the
quality of vocational education.
Within the framework of the study visit, the participants got acquainted with the dual
system of German vocational education, the role of the Chamber of Commerce and
companies in vocational education, the principles of school management,
approaches related to the popularization of vocational education, the role of
innovative methods, including digitalization in teaching, student services and other
issues.
